Sounds like a problem I was having with my 92 ssei. I took it to 4 different places. The first place said it was the belt tensioner(the one by the SC). I had to special order one($80!), and turns out that wasn't the problem. They wouldn't let me return it either(anyone need one?). The second place said it was the supercharger(a dealership), and wanted $3000 for a new one. No thanks. The third place said it was the air conditioner clutch. Nope, wasn't it. The fourth place found the problem. It was the crankshaft pully. The outer part of the pully(where the belt rides) is attached to the inner part of the pully by rubber. Mine had rotted away, so the outer part could be spun almost completely around before it would catch on something.
