I pulled out of my garage leaving for work with the ECC at 90F like usual when suddenly it just stopped blowing air. Uhhh, ok. So I click it off, then back on. I watched the little graphic of the fan speed automatically increase, but no hot air. No noise of any air blowing at all. But if I listen very closely I can hear what sounds like the vents changing position when I change from defrost to floor heat (and vice-versa). Did my blower fail? If so where do I start. I have 0 experience with car heating/AC systems.

No air flow, or air flow with no heat?

If no flow, start checking fuses everywhere and see if you blew one. I don't remember which one controls the power to the fans.

If all the fuses are good, you gotta check for 12V at the fan assembly. You need a gearhead here, bud. AC and ECC are out of my league, too.

No air flow whatsoever. Only rear defrost works.

Which fuse box should I start checking?

Crap. I don't remember. Just check all of them in the main panel, passenger hushpanel, and maxifuse center. Or search here. Fuddy and/or Andy have posted fuse locations in the past.

I checked my Chilton'* and it says there is a blower relay under the hood. I'll check that if I have the time. But I did look at the driver side kickpanel fuse box and can't find anything that would seem like ECC. What is STS though?

Go check for 12V+ at the fan motor when you power the fan up to full speed.

Fuses:

1. Fuse 3 in the Passenger side underhood fuse block
2. Fuses 5A and 9C in the instrument panel fuse block
3. Fuse 11 in the relay center (passenger side kick panel)

That should be the blower relay right? WTF?!

Where is this? Right to the right of my PCM under passenger kickpanel right? I have no idea what I'm looking at though, bunch of grey cartriges.

For the passenger side kick panel, try looking below the relays, under the chime module. There should be some fuses there.

Under the hood, the fuses should be right above the relays, look for the colored thingys.

Ah, above gray box-like relays? K...give it a looker.
