discount code and phone number to call them if you wish...

Discount on RockAuto Parts!

Thank you for being a Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto customer! To show our appreciation, we have a special discount for you.

Your discount code is:

13160931121159

Using Your Discount Code

Enter the code above in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart. If you are using our traditional HTML catalog, please click the "Apply" button to the right of the field. Your discount will automatically appear, subtracted from your order total.

Please note: We sometimes get calls from people who put the word "discount" in front of their code and do not get the discount. Please enter ONLY the discount code, no other words or numbers.
The discount takes 5% off our already-low prices. There's no limit on order size or the number of orders. Use the code for your next order, and share the code with friends, neighbors, relatives, the guy at the corner garage--anyone you know who works on cars or trucks.

This discount code expires on February 1, 2009; so don't wait!

Share Your Experience

I hope you are happy with the parts you purchased and that your car or truck once again performs as it should. Please use the RockAuto wiki and the Reseller Ratings website to share your experience with others.

When I finish a repair on my car, I know what tools to use, what other parts have to be removed to get to the one I'm replacing, what fluids will splash me if I'm not careful, and other useful facts I wish I'd known when I started. I also can recognize the symptoms more quickly if the problem happens again.

Recording this knowledge in the wiki (WikiHelp) helps others who need to fix the same problem. It may even help you if, like me, you sometimes find yourself replacing the same part years later and struggling to remember how you did it the first time!

Click the part number on your order confirmation to find the wiki page for a part. If you do not have your order confirmation, open the RockAuto catalog, look up the part you purchased and click on the blue question mark at the top of the part window.

I invite you to share your experiences shopping with RockAuto by clicking the "Reseller Ratings" link at the bottom of this email.
Thanks again for buying your auto parts at RockAuto!

I ordered 1571835 but it doesnt look like that one, it has an arm on it that the cable attaches to. I wish I checked the site before I ordered the part to get that discount code, but thank you for trying. I appreciate it. I started troubleshooting the problem im having with the A/C not coming out of the center vents and I found that im getting no vaccuum out of the blue vaccuum line. I noticed that in past posts people have had this issue with the blue vaccuum line. Does anyone have a picture of where this line normally gets clogged or crimped? Every picture I went to look at in past posts had expired. Thanks!

your going to have to reuse your arm off of your airmix actuator.
......looking for photos

I definitely think I ordered the wrong part #. I think its supposed to be 1571923 with all the electronic A/C controls. Or will they both work with it?

when did you order it? have they sent you a shipping trac number yet?

They are really good to work with, give them a call in the morning and ask them to cross refferance the numbers of the two actuators to see if they are the same or if at least the one you ordered will work
or ask them to send you the correct one. if you call early enough they can stop the first order and fix the problem.

I still have my box from them and it is the same number you found. hope it works out for you.

Did you ever find the photo of where the blue vacuum line gets clogged?

Toddster 01-07-2009 09:48 PM

no not yet sorry. but have read others comments about at least taking a look at the 'nipples' to verify that they are good. this way you can at least rule them out until then.

STWater 01-07-2009 10:22 PM

I will inspect the nipples then get back to you.... wait that actually sounds like fun lol. I tried to stop that order from being shipped but I was a day late so im gona rip out that actuator and see how close they are to eachother. You have any personal tips for changing this out that I havent read in the other posts?
