Hi! I own a 96Bonneville SE and have developed a coolant leak near the upper intake manifold?? I have no knowledge of cars, so I'm looking for honest information so I'll have an idea what I'm talking about when I take it to get it repaired. Any and all info you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Is it coming out the upper intake manifold near the EGR port?

Does your oil look milky?

I think if he is a new guy to this car stuff, he isn't going to know what an EGR port is. Which side of the engine is it on? front? back? left? right?

Fixed it

Can't see it with the engine cover on.

Behind the throttle body, on the back side of the black plastic upper intake manifold (the thing with 6 runners molded into it). Just behind where the TB mounts to it.

You may have just become a victim of the dreaded L36 Vin K upper intake manifold failure. Plenty of topics here on it.
