Hello!
Last weekend I tried to take off the multifunction lever to check why my intermittent wiper mode is not working.
But ... I think it'* almost impossible - does anyone know, how can i take this part out?
I could only remove 2 covers and then some plastic part lost its place, so hi/lo beam now doesn't work.
Please, do you have any pictures/manuals for this procedure?
Thanks a lot!

I thought when I had to replace some years ago I just twisted the stalk and a few rotations and it was off but still connected by wires. Then I had to disconnect wires at base of column and tie string to them and pull them up out of the column. Then I used string to pull new wiring down the column.
Before you go through all that work, you should check your voltages going into the wiper motor and going into the wiper motor pulse board. The pulse board is what triggers the "on/off" of the wiper motor, when in intermitten mode.
I've never had to do this test in a Bonneville, so a manual will be your friend. I did it in my Chevy pickup and it was very easy.
