If it has a rectangular connector with abou a dozen wires going into ir, it might be a factory wired CD Changer cable. I know on the Regals most 97-99 came wired from the factory for it, even if you didn't order it. Not sure if the bonnevilles had this luxury. Actually... I'll go snap some of my cable now.

Edit: Does it look like this?

That doesn't look like it.

I think it'* an alien device of some sort. Maybe it makes it possible to hook up the tail lights to the spacecraft as they're towing it behind the ship.

I'll get pics. Until then, keep them coming.

I bought it in 1997. There was one owner before me. He was a Goodyear plant manager. The dealer I bought it from sold it to him to begin with and is a good friend of the family. I think he'd have mentioned something back then. Actually, I think I even asked about it a month later or so and he didn't know anything about it.

So, who knows. I thought it was standard.

Default I have one

Before dad gave me the car he had a trailer hitch put on it. SO getho. But it sounds exactly like what you have. If you look under the back bumper do you have a square piece of tubing that looks like something could slide in there?

I also have a CD changer in my trunk. The cd changer is a white ended cable and the tow lights is a black ended cable with some conector looking things on it. An I believe it has red lights on it to.

Fun Fun
James
