hey guys im new here and just bought a 92 bonneville se when i open the door the lights dont turn on is this normal

Does it do this with all doors? Have you checked the fuse? I'm not sure where that fuse is located.

have you tried this during the day or at night? because on my 2000 the lights dont turn on if there is any light hitting the daylight sensor

IIRC it woulf be fuse 8a or 6a, maybe it'* a d. either way. Once you put the fuse in, expect the lights to stay on all the time. It'* a common issue for the car when a door handle switch fails. Most folks pull the light fuse if they don't understand the best way to fix it.

Hey guys thanks and i must say i am from Canada EH!!!! lol well Windsor Ont which is pretty much Detroit but any ways the lights do not turn on no matter which door opens and i just tried and its dark 20:00 to be exact and the fuse you talk about is it under the hood or the box under the dash because the fuses under the dash have no numbers thanks

Under the dash on the driverside. You may need to invert and look rather well to see the numbers, but they are there.
