You might want to also check the transmission/engine mounts and make sure they are all OK. A bad mount can also cause the symptoms you describe.

WOW...so many possibilites. Thank you everyone for your help Im gonna have a transmission service done on the car this week so i will have it checked out then to see (hopefully not) if theres something wrong.

i've had that problem... i dont like what happened after. Probably 10 K miles later the tranny went completely. 2 grand later the car no longer does that... get it checked out before its too late... i know i would have if i knew my tranny was next.

Yea im having it checked out tomorrow, actually this has been happening since my mother got the car in november of 2003, its been about 20000 miles since then, so im not overly concerned about the trans goin but hey we will see what they say tomorrow, thanks for the information.

my car started doing that about 30 thousand miles before my tranny went... i dont know if it was linked, but now with the new tranny its fine... but on another note... my car seems to "click" from the left wheel whenever i turn, any ideas?
