Does anyone knows how to pull the overhead consoles without braking them in a 95 sse.

There are a couple of push in tabs that need to be removed, then it should lower and allow you to unhook the wires etc.

I need to remove one in a 2000+ also, but "a couple of push in tabs" just isn't turning on the light bulb above my head. Do tabs really have to be "removed" or just depressed to release? Does a screwdriver help or destroy? Where are these tabs, on the sides, or the front & rear? I've broken so many interior clips in the past that I'm gun-shy.
