Default how much vacum is normal?

I had uim and lim gaskets changed on my 95 bonne w 3800 series 2 after I hydrolocked motor. Now I'm burning alot of oil and I just noticed that when motor is running and you open oil filler cap there seems to be alot of vacum and engine begins to sputter. I was thinking I fried rings when uim let go but I don't know if that much vacum is normal? Could someone let me know when they open there oil filler cap when motor is running does there seem to be alot of vacum.

Check your PCV valve on your UIM. Seems like it might be stuck closed.

Actually ... most likely it'* missing the lower o-ring. Did one a couple weeks back.

You should not have excessive vacuum at the cap.

Yep, PCV valve. I'm thinking it'* stuck open or missing the O ring.

You guys are good! Checked PVC and it was missing lower O ring. Replaced it and vacum went away. Now hoping oil consumption goes down. Thanks guys
