Default vacum leak

I have a 92 ssei supercharge. I had my buddy scan my check engine light and we called autozone with the two codes we received. They said there was a vacum leak and the trasmission was getting hot. Are these common problems. ANy quick fixes?

Find the leak.

Transmissions running hot in these cars is typical, and also a major part of their demise......Install an extra trans cooler.

Vacuum leak code? From a scantool? BS. No such thing. Have it scanned at Autozone, or use the procedure in Techinfo. Tell us the code numbers.
