Transmission Vacum Modulator
I pulled my Modulator and I get ATF out of the vacum port, I know this is bad, but my question is how much smke can this cause out the exhaust when accelerating under high vacum conditions.? I have had this smoking issue for some time and I have tried and checked just about everything 2 times and even thought I had corrected it with the EGR replacement. Today it still smokes when you accelerated at a steady 2000 rpm. It is fine while the car is cold and idling. I think this is finally the piece to the puzzle. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated... THANKS
I don't know if/how much smoke it would cause, but you'll be happy to know that modulators are cheap.
But just like any fluid intake, it'* gotta cause some smoke, right? I wouldn't think it could be much if you haven't noticed your tranny fluid disappearing.

I do not know how much tranny fluid it has been using, I did a engine swap and it has been in the garage so I could figure this smoking issue. So I hope this is the problem, regardless , it needs to be changed. Thanks
