Default How to check for Intake coolant Leak

I just got done reading a horror story about the infamous intake leak.

My Bonne is a 97... I should probably be checking the intake right?

What do I look for? What do I look at to see if it'* leaking? How do I know if any damage has been done?

Thanks!

Watch your overflow tank. If that empties and you can find no evidence of coolant on the ground then there'* a good chance your engine is drinking it. If you suspect this to be happening...DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR. There are quite a few threads and write-ups here that can help you to do this work yourself (I've had this issue and done the work) or what to watch for if you choose to go to a shop.
