I noticed a few days ago that my security light was now clicking and blinking faster than normal when I open the door. Today my car will not start. I got the light to be back to normal, I think it was a problem with my stereo install?? Anyways, when I turn the key and try to start the car the gages all blink fast and go nuts. If I leave the key in the run position the gages do their normal thing but if I wiggle the key or step on the brake they go nuts and start the check sequence over again. Any ideas??? I checked all fuses and were good.

Sounds like a bad battery or ground to me.

i had the same problem when my alternator went and took my battery with it. take them both off and take them to an autoparts store that can test them.( ACTUALLY, first check to make sure you dont have a loose connection on the battery and alternator, charge the battery, if none of that works, then take it in)
