heater help
i have no iea and yea when my car is at temp....but it doesnt over heat...my dad thought maybe the something with the computer which is spendy or some other thing but never the thermostat
I believe that the HVAC programmer has been known to have its issues, but im wondering why you would get heat at 90 and not at other temps? Have you tried moving the heat to the defrost, dash, or floor at all with any increase in heat?
My '93 does the same thing as did my old '89 SE with ECC. Set at 90* all heat, but 85* is all cold and NO heat.
I just never worried about it. usually when I need the heat, I need alot of it. If I don't need so much, I just turn it down or off. :?

yep no matter what setting it at its the same wa heat only at 90 and its minnesota it could be 65 degrees outside i dont need my ball sweat all over my seats just some warmer heat lol
A couple things to try would be using compressed air.. blow out the vented area to the right of your dashboard cigarette lighter. The temp sensor is behind that vent.
Another would be to remove the glove box and observe the air mix actuator arm through the peek hole. If the movement appears as anything but smooth, your issue is most likely the actuator.
