Grinding Noise when making sharp left turn

When making a sharp left turn, like in a drive thru and the wheel is turned all the way i hear a loud grinding noise. It just started out of no where and i am not sure what it is. please help. thanks

is there a pause in midst of the grinding? like as in a driveshaft noise...?

yes it pauses in between the grinding
