Question harmonic balancer

i'm replacing the harmonic balancer on my 92 sse.i got the bolt off and attached a puller using 3 bolts to the proper places. i placed a deep well socket in the center hole to push against. it won't budge. am i missing something? its very frustrating.

Dave,

I use an impact gun with about 500 ft lbs of torque. It can be on there rather well and I've had some doubts about some in the past. Keep at it and you'll succeed.

Yes it is a hard one to get off. you need a big puller that will hook on the outside edges of the balancer and it will come.
