yesterday i went to the dealership and the car was sold :( the salesman told me the car just need valve cover gaskets and a new alternator other wise the car ran good, and body was straight ...dam only if i saw the ad earlier then i could of bought that car

Come to think of it, (1) if all it needed was rocker cover gaskets, they would have put them on, but mainly (2) if it needed a new alternator, how would anyone have even driven it off the lot?

I'm wondering if the car even existed...

On the other hand, if it needed a new alternator, I guess it really was a Bonneville after all.
