Default going to look at a 96 bonneville ssei

this one dealership is selling a black 96 bonneville ssei supercharged for $995 and it has 184,000 mile on it... i haven't looked at the car yet but sounds like a good deal, i was wondering what are some common problems with the 96 ssei? are all ssei models fully loaded with a sunroof? what are all the options that the 1996 ssei model have?

That'* beyond a good deal; you're into Raised Eyebrows territory. You need to double and triple-check this.

1) Is $995 actually a down payment, with the other $3000 or so in Low Monthly Payments?
2) Is it $995 with a trade-in worth at least $2000?
3) Is it-- oops, gosh, darn it, you know how these things happen-- a misprint?

If it'* really $995, there'* gotta be some things a little weird here. See if it'* actually got all its underhood components, and that they're all actually connected. See how many warning lights are showing on the dash. See if the carpets are soaked under the floormats.

For $995, I would assume that it will start, drive, and stop; I would not assume that anything else on it is in working order, including (especially) the ABS.

I would buy a car like this simply because I'd enjoy fixing it in my spare time, but I would not buy it if I had no other car and needed something to get me back and forth to work. Good luck and tell us what you find out!

My 97' LSS */C was $5200. The ABS and TC does not work. The paint is shot. For $992 i'm guessing its lacking a tranny or something major.

If it is, that'll put a real dent in the ol' road test...

I can't wait to hear more about this car!
