What do you all know about fuel cutout when turning a sharp right on less that half a tank. Long right turn on and off ramp leave the car starving for fuel momentarily. After a few seconds of straightening out in it coughs and then roars back to life. Never happens when turning left or going straight. I've checked all the lines and replaced the inline filter,............... I havn't dropped the tank,............. Is there a baffle in there?
Pontiac released a TSB for this issue. I believe this is the number:
92655 JUL 92 Fuel - Momentary Loss of Power Hesitation On Turns
A search just might dig up the entire bulletin

92 Bonneville SSE change the strainer and the problem will be fixed, i had the same problem when i bought my car, every right hand turn i made the car did exactly what your experiencing, momentarily loses power and then coughts and bam its back, sometimes it would actually stall but only a few times. Got a new strainer at autozone and fixed that puppy right up. Heres a link to my problem and a diagram of what the problem is too. Hope it helps.

and if you are dropping the tank to change it, you should also change the fuel pump at the same time. They seem to last about 120K miles then go bad. Get an OEM one, dont go for an aftermarket one.
