Default 93 ssei cutout problems (detonation)

My car runs will barely take any boost once it has been running for about 30 minutes. It hesitates and cuts out very bad like I am running very very low octane fuel. Could the problem be bad gas. I filled up then went on about an hours drive, about 45 minutes into it it started doing this.I added octane booster and tapped off a 3/4 full tank with 93. It seemed to help, but still after driving 30 - 45 minutes it starts the same thing.

It is either something electrical or just flat out bad gas. I am trying to run it all out to see if that fixes it. Any ides???????

1) Stop dumping octane booster in; you won't help anything but may fry your plugs. I assume you have all 93-octane in there now, right?

2) How many miles on the car since you changed the fuel filter? Maybe it'* got some flow problems. I'm thinking more fuel-related than ignition-related problems here if you see some difference in performance when you change the fuel mixture like you did.

The fuel filter is under the car, inboard of the passenger'* side subframe behind the front wheel.

Ya check your codes, some problems wont turn the SES light on, and if its not that then change your fuel filter

Replaced fuel filter, same thing. Is there something that may be getting too hot (like coill packs) that could cause this. I can let it run for 10 - 20 minutes in the driveway with hood up and all is fine. But if I keep the hood closed or drive it, once everything gets nice and hot it starts this. I haven't checked fuel pressure, but wouldn't think that would be it since it runs awsome from until fully hot (20 - 30 miutes runtime). If I shut off car, and restart it a few minutes later it runs great for a few minutes then starts acting up again.

Need advice?????
