Default Fluctuations when turning and accelerating also when braking

I have a 1994 SE Bonneville and have been having some problems lately with the car. Whenever I brake hard, the RPM will fluctuate around the 1000 RPM level. It will go down to 600 PRM then jump back up to 1000. If I let the car idle for a couple of seconds it will return to normal but if I try to accelerate while the car is doing this, the car doesn't respond. The RPM will increase but there is no response in the car and when it does respond it is pretty violent cluck. The other problem I have arises when I am turning and try to accelerate, the engine again fluctuates. The RPM will be up around 3000 and then while I'm turning will drop down to 2000 then back up to 3000. I don't know what could be causing this. I have placed the fuel filter, no luck. Had the crank sensor replaced, no luck either. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks for the welcome. I am going to take out my digital camera today and record the RPM gauge so I give you guys how much it does fluctuate.

Here'* a video of what happens. You can see the RPM suddenly jump up to 3000 RPM. Doesn't really show it well, I will try to get a better picture.

Do you have some more info of what it'* not
I mean have you ruled out anything at this point? How long has this been going on?
If not try to fuel pump/system first, it sounds as if you aren't getting enough fuel pressure at the engine.

I have a 94 SE and my "GM Dirtect" fuel pump quit on me after 11 months. and it did almost the same thing. I would be cruisin along fine and then I would lose power, have a jolt because the car was now pushin the tranny. steppin on the gas did nothin. the car wouldrev a little for 10-30 sec then die and I'd have to park it and start it to get it going.
Hope this has given you some Ideas

Maybe a tranny problem? You said clunk, maybe the tranny or VSS is messed up a lil or something....

For the fuel system try some STP for a tank or two, it'* under $3 a bottle, and one bottle per tank is just right. Your injectors might be dirty or lines or whatever. How old is the fuel filter in the car? What kind of oil filter is in there and when was it last changed.

Thank you all for reading post #997, as you can see it'* not whorage...

I the fuel filter is only a few months old. I replaced that to see if that would solve the problem and it didn't. This has been going on for about two months now. I had the crank sensor replaced about a month ago as a mechanic suggested that it might solve it because I was also having problems starting the car. No longer do I have problem'* starting the car but turning and accelerating is still a problem. I will try you fuel cleaner suggestion and let you know how it works out.

As for the video, I forgot to post the link.... here it is: http://home.cogeco.ca/~davidsona/Picture.mov

You can see it kind of stable at 2000 RPM the suddenly jump.
