So... I'm tuning my amplifier cause I like my bass loud. I turn off the car to take a break and go outside and 10 minutes later I go back out, turn her on.... and I hear this awful clicking//clanking.... So i'm like "W-T-F Mate..." pop the hood and my belt came off my pulley and is now all tangled up!!!! woot. my uncle is coming to look at it but it looks like I'll be getting a super sweet new belt!!!

just thought I'd share my incident and see if anyone else here has had the same thing happen!!!

yes there have been many that have shredded the SC belt. Not not a common thing but it happens every so often

Happened to me!!! Not much fun but doable...

2 belt tensioners are all out of whack. one locked up the other is just crap. uncle will fix tomorrow.

happened to me, i replaced it before it snapped but it was damaged and the piece of it that was loose and flying aorund tore up my hood line pretty bad, dont matte rmuch i took it off anyway, just dead weight insulating more heat, i odnt care about noise reduction
