Default need motor mount help...newbie mechanic

Hey guys, im 17 and I havent really had a whole lot of experience with cars... one of the motor mounts on my 92 bonneville is broken...im guessin its the rear one but i cant locate it...we replaced the front passenger side motor mount (which ended up not being broken at all) and the front drivers side trans mount (which was broken in half) and it still hasn't helped...whenever I put the car into gear the whole engine tilts from the rear forward which is puttin alot of stress on the front trans mount (which im sure is why its broke to begin with)...if anyone has any kind of break of where the broken mount is located it would be of great help...

Thanks

Justin

Actually, I bet it'* the torque strut mount.

Here'* how you test:

Place the car on flat ground.
Raise the hood.
Have a trusted individual start the car.
Set the parking brake.
Foot on the brake.
Shift to Drive.
DO NOT STAND, WALK OR JOG IN FRONT OF THE CAR!!!
Quickly tap the gas to 50% or so.
Watch how the engine moves, Which side of the rear drops farther?

The both sides should move 1/4" to 3/8".

If it'* the passenger side, You need a new Torque Strut Mount. Two Bolts.

If it'* the drivers' side, You need a new Transmission Mount. 7 or 8 Bolts.

If you can't tell which side does it most, guess Torque Strut, It'* cheaper and easier.
