Ok I am at my wits end on this exhaust leak that has been there since day one
. So here are the pictures of the flanges. Yes I know one of the studs is in backwards but it didn't matter when it was the other way. The EM'* are welded and the donught gasket in ther eis straight from GM. The problem I am having is that the flanges at the top are hitting when the motor is torqued which in turn opens at the bottom. I have had five exhaust shops work on it in the last year and none of them have fixed it yet! The last one was the shop that did my cat. I asked them to fix it and when they were done I asked if they fixed it they said yes it'* all silent. As soon as I got 10 mins away it opened up again! Here is my best guess: The DP is at the wrong angle and needs to be rebent up to fix this. Is there a flex DP that will work on the 93'*? Take a look and let me know what you think.

I did look at that and they seem fine. However I am planning to replace the front lower one. I thought I read about adapting the 95+ one with the hydraulic strut on the 92-93. Is this possible or is there another option on a stiffer mount?
I doubt there'* any reason why you can't use the 95 mount. Unless the exhaust hits...but I don't foresee that as an issue. The strut should help limit the movement, especially if your old mount was bad.
