Default Evap prob P0442

So my car is still not getting great gas mileage like between 15-17 high way conditions. For the second time I got a P0442 which is slow leak in the Evap system. I have no vacumme hose leaks where else could it be leaking? what parts can I change or recharge. Write up will ensue.bs2

According to some article I've read, a leak as small as .04" in diameter is enough to throw the code.

With a P0442, the most common repair is to:
  • Remove and reinstall the gas cap, clear the codes, and drive for a day and see if the codes come back.
  • Otherwise, replace the gas cap, or
  • Inspect the EVAP system for cuts/holes in tubes/hoses
See this info for more links etc : OBD-II Trouble Code: P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak)
