Engine light still on
I could use some advise. After changing crank sensor (car wouldn't run) and cam sensor. I am still getting Code 41. We have changed cam sensor 3 times in about a week I am pretty sure that is not the problem. But don't know where to start looking now. I have been told that maybe need new ECM. Hoping someone here can help. You guys were a big help with info on how to finish crank sensor install. We followed the advice we got here and worked like a charm. I am hoping for that same magic again.
Thanks in Advance

You must remember that just because a car throws a code for a specifit item, that doesnt automatically mean it must be replaced. Sometimes simply resetting the PCM and driving it around can make the code dissapear never to return.
Also, your crank and cam signal go into your ignition module then to the computer. So it could be a wire that the signal is not getting from ignition module to the computer.
But also checking the wires coming from the cam sensor is not a bad idea.

Are you getting spark or is it the fuel injection not working?
yes disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes will do the trick but its easier to just clear with a scantool. sounds like your not getting your 5 volt reference to the moduole. Backprobe the PCM and check the reference wire to ground.. The ICM could be shot and not receiving the voltage or the computer is shot not sending it.. Ive seen plenty of these problems and its one of the two. very common
