Well, looks like I'm off to the bank to get a loan for a power steering pump and a tank of gas.
BTW - Before I knew I had the electronic steering gizmo, I was thinking I liked the feel of the wheel on my car and wasn't jealous of anyone that had it. No wonder I liked it.

If you have an Autozone near you, they have the pulley puller for the PS pump available with their "loan a tool" program. You go in and "buy" it, use it, take it back, and get your money back. I did one about a month ago, and considered using one of the various pullers I had. I decided against that, and used the one at Autozone. I'm glad that I did. It took about 10 minutes to get the pulley off the old one, and on the new one.

Somewhat off-topic (ehh, more like a deviation), as I'm sniffing through ebay for PS pumps and looking at application charts, it appears the electronic pump applies to 92-93 with 16" wheels (no mention of "electronic" control) and 94+ with no */C and electronic steering...among others. So, were the base wheels for 92-93 15 inchers? Mine has 16s. Maybe the upgrade to 16" wheels automatically included the T2V option and that explains why T2V isn't listed in my options. For that matter, 16" wheels are probably included with the SSE package so there'* probably several options lurking on my car that aren't listed on the spare tire cover...
Back on topic, has anyone ever just replaced the seals in a power steering pump? As the resident tightwad it'* my sworn duty to explore this avenue since a seal kit is, like, $10. I'm also a charter member of the Lazy A$$es of the Western Hemisphere Club, however, and the cost to work ratio (aka PITA factor) must be acceptable.
