i have a 96 ssei with digital climate and a remote start. whenever i shut my car off the blower kicks on then off and repeat until the batt dies. i did some researching and i came to the conclusion that it can be the blower control module. and now when i shut my car off the normal shift light stays on and i can switch between the two. what can be wrong now?

edit: also when i turn the fan off before shutting the car off the display on the climate control flickers and stays on when the car is off

I'd want to double check, but I believe all the stock wiring for those items is ignition controlled via a relay.

You mention an auto start, some of them supply power to items in order to turn on heaters etc. Not sure if that factors into the issue. How long as the starter been in the car and how long has the problem been occurring?

i dunno it had it when i bought the car. and it has been happening for a few weeks ago
