Well, now that is an opinion-related matter!

I hate taking the doors apart because there are a million fasteners and they are all hidden. I took both of mine to the dealer.

I WD-40ed my tumbler and inside the door the best I could and mine has been working for about a month. If your door lock is trying to move upward when you are unlocking the door, this easy fix may work for you.

I noticed it was kinda hard to unlock my car with the key, so I figured that the tumbler may be sticky. Got out the old WD-40 and sprayed everything that I could.

Get the little red hose attachment and spray inside where your door latch is. Also spray inside the tumbler.

I have the driver door unlocking problem on my 96 Grand Prix GTP. This problem has went from sumtimes it will unlock, to now it will not unlock unless I unlock it manually. I thought it was the driver side actuator/bumper, but when I put it on the passenger side door it worked fine. Both my key pad remote, and the door lock/unlock switches fail to unlock the driver side, BUT the other 3 doors will unlock properly. Fuses, relay, and wiring are all ok. AND yes so is the linkage as well... ANY IDEAS?-) Haha reaching through my driver seat from the back to unlock my car is getting old rather fast!

you should really start your own thread this one is from 2003. i dont have drawings but i would see if you have power when you hit unlock then trace it back to the switch, could be they all go through the driver side switch.
