perfectly normal.

your idle air controller (IAC) is open, causing the hollow sucking sound

it will gradually go away as the car warms up, to bad it is so embarrassing to the people that think you car is gonna blow up.

Sounds like my parents 2002 Park Avenue Ultra did 30 minutes ago when I had to tighten a battery connection because it wouldn't start for my mom today.
Dad has a FWI in it and it sounds just like that.
My old 98 SSE was even louder with a 3" CAI.

LOL - I knew I read it sounded odd but this isn't what I expected. LOL

on the plus side today my buddy said my car moves pretty good but the tranny'* whining... "Nope - that'* the supercharger" and then he noticed the boost gauge and it was at 7psi.

And then half hour later he mentions how comfortable it is and another 10 minutes later him and the friend he brought up from VA are both asleep. ...and me with no magic marker....

Not a thing to worry about.

My wife thought the same thing when I first put my CAI on and she thought there was something wrong
