Default Does this sound right whats my gear ratio in this car?

I have a bad 0-60 time in my 1995 bonneville SLE L36 it seems to have a consistant mid to high 8'* in that car sometimes even low 9'* I think there may be something wrong with it but I dont know what could be wrong seems like I have some high gear ratios it shifts out at about 45 in 1st and about 90 in 2nd I dont know whats wrong is this normal don't seem like 205 hp like I should have.... sucker shifts like around 5900-6000 rpm It seems to be pretty slow up intill about 20 mph

Why would the the 1996 SE series 2 L67 be slower? or is the 96 the l36? How much faster is the 96 from the 95 if that is so?

Because the 95 was the lightest year weight wise AND that 7.1 figure is because that particular car had the Supercharged engine making 225hp.....the 96 has a NA Series II making 205hp

For reference, my 95 SLE is as quick as a Series 2 SSEi stock for stock, regardless of the lower rating. Partly because of the weight.
