Default Cruise and TCC

I read Danthrus thread on how to take the 2 switches out, and reinstall them, but I did not see how close to the brake pedal they are supposed to be....Should they just be touching them or back away from them just a touch......
I looked at mine tonight, because I dont have any cruise, and the shifting at take off is jumpy.....
Thanks.
I put alot of posts on here, about my car, but really it is a nice car. Just trying to get her running good. For the daughter.....

If the cruise is not working then the brake switch is not adjusted right. Move the switch in one tooth and take a test drive.

When looking at the 2 switches, how close to the pedal should they be?

You want the switch to be all the way closed when the peddle is all the way up. I pushed teh switch in until I can't any more, test drive, then if I need to move it in I push the peddle in just a bit and move the switch.
