Default Cruise control problems PLEASE HELP

I have a 1994 pontiac bonneville sse and my cruise quit. i replaced the thing under the hood 2 times already and my mechanic seems to think that is a relay or something. it will work for a little while(under 5 minutes) and quit. at the beginning i hear a click on the right side and when it quits i hear another click on the right side. please help!!

Check the vacuum lines under the hood. Pop it and listen for hissing sounds that would indicate a vacuum leak and make sure all connections are secure.

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewheres.
