coolant question
im sure i already know the answer to this but should i get rid of the orange crap in my 97 ssei and replace it with normal green or just leave it be
That'* complete myth. We had a member on here run a year with green coolant and plastic LIM gaskets and the gaskets were still beginning to fail with the non-dexcool coolant. The problem is how the LIM gaskets were made. The new aluminum ones fixes that problem.

It'* a myth https://www.gmforum.com/showthread.p...light=dex+myth
You can change it if you wish, but no need to do so. If you do you need to totally flush the system. If you leave even a little it will sludge up and clog up your cooling system
