I only have the 97 FSM...all I could find is the information from given to you in your prior post about your code 31:
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...switch+circuit
Is your car NOT starting now?
According to the '97 FSM for a similar code, there is either a bad connection (like Bill Buttermore had mentioned), the Park/Nuetral switch needs to be adjusted or is bad, or the PCM may need to be replaced.
I'll see if I can locate another gearhead with the earlier service manuals..sorry, bud...help will arrive eventually.

yeah my car starts.
that page you linked is one of my previous post.
My cruise control doesn't work either so I checked all
my vacum tubes and played w/ cruise control servo
and it sounds loose. could the code be related to my cruise control not working.
When i push the throtle on cruise control servo the main throtle doesn't engage.
is this normal? is the park neutral switch under the cruise control servo what I should be concerned with or do I need to jack the car up and get at the top of the transaxle assembly?

If the car starts, ignore the code 31. It just means you have a bad or misadjusted switch. No performance issues with it.
Code 58 is a known BUG in the 92 PCM. Ignore it.
