Default Check Engine Light, Runs rough

:( Hello,
Newbie here, I have a 99 Bonneville SSE without the supercharger that ran fine when I shut it off yesterday. Just started it to go to work and the check engine light is on and its running like it has bad gas or is missing a cylinder. The fuel pump has been noisy for a couple of months, still is, so I believe it to be working.

I know this is a pretty general question, but I don't know where to start.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

You need to start by having the car scanned. Take it to AutoZone and they will scan it for free. Then, post the codes here. Someone will help you out!

BTW..welcome to the club!
