Now that the experence is fresh in my memory (I have the sore knuckels to prove it) I'll add to the guide I used and answer any questions I ended up asking here.

Now to track down that damn shaking...
Two things just came to my mind:

1) Did you pull the idler pulleys? If so, when you put them back on, did you reassemble the guides in the right order? I screwed this part up royally and wound up destroying a pulley and a brand new belt. Check that cause there'* bearings there.

2) Regarding the shaking, when you put the motor mount back on, did that go smoothly? Tightened the the mount and bracket up properly?
I pulled one idler, but kept it stacked when I pulled it with the bolt in it.

This problem isn't new, but I used the opertunity where I was under the car to replace the spark plugs and wires I could get loose (All but number 6).
Re attaching the Mount went fine, the bolts guided through without a problem.

Well, I get under the car and find the plug wire.
Pull on it and it'* stuck fast. I had the same problem with all of the plugs, but reaching as far down as possable and turning the wire got plugs 2 and 4 off. I can't turn 6, and there'* almost no space for my arms.

I doubt the wire is broken, but then again I wouldn't know. As far as a cracked spark plug, all of the three of the plugs I pulled were in great condition. Plugs 3 (Front, center) and 2 (Rear near belts) were blacker but still in good condition.

The problem is new, but happened before my car started spitting coolant out.

Ok..so it has nothing to do with you tugging on wire 6 and not getting it off.

Nope. If it was working fine I would have taken one look at those wires and decided to leave them alone.

How drunk were the people who made these engines?
