When an incorrect resistance is detected 3 things happen:
1. power to fuel pump is cut off
2. Power to starter is cut off
3. power to ignition is cut off (fuel injectors disabled)

Yes, it does make a slight click from under the steering column when you try to start it but it does not.

Well I am not a mechanic but where is the starter located.

What are my other options if it is not the starter or battery connection?[/b]

The security light doesn't come on any more. So what do you think it might be? The clicking sound is still there.

Default Starter filled with motor oil

First of all I want to thank you guys because you were a real help.

I took my car to the mechanics and got my starter fixed. When I went home someone told me that I could probably have a oil leak that probably messed up my started.
This must be true because I am always putting motor oil in my car.

My question as follow:

Could it be the intake gasket that is leaking that messed up my starter?

Which gasket is above the starter?

Thanks in advance.
