Default car won't start

My wife took the car (95 SE) to the grocery store, came out and it won't start. I tried jumping it, no joy. 14V showing on the gauge. Battery is 1 year old. Alternator is 1 week old. Starter is abotu 9 months old, Napa'* best starter they sell.

I can hear the solenoid pickup but it won't turn over. Any ideas? I tried tapping on the starter but that didn't work either

thanks

Disconnect ALL battery cables from both ends, especially the ground points. Clean them all with a wire brush.

Default cables

Also follow the cables where they are run for any bare spots or shorts especially near the hot engine.
