my 92 smells like gas when i get out everytime, and i was just wondering what was wrong wit it if neone has ne idea just let me know

You're asking someone that lives up the road from an oil refinery what you should do when you smell gas??? RUN!!!!!

Seriously, Matt, this could be anything from an accidental gas spill from over filling your gas tank to a leaking gas tank or a leaking gas line. Why don't you take it to a reputable mechanic and let them sniff around your car for the problem. Good Luck.

my car did the same thing to the previous owner, the gas tank itself was leaking, and fairly fast, he took it in had the tank, pump, and sending unit replaced, cost around 900 canadian, that tank is still the cleanest part under my car!
