Default airbag dashlight is always on

does anyone else have this? how do i fix it? what does it mean, I havent been in an accident but I am guessing if I do they wont deploy.

You're right! It is a warning that your air bags will probably not deploy in the event of a catastrophic accident. It could be as simple as a fuse. Otherwise, I personally wouldn't mess with the air bags(or their wires/sensors). You could accidentally set it off and that would be a real expensive mistake. I would leave this one to the pros.

Start by checking the fuses. I can't remember having airbag issues on this site before, believe it or not. There may be a way for the dealer to retrieve airbag codes.
