No more luck in neutral.... no security light..... i show my bonneville love and all it responds with is hate .......

well my 90 olds has a 3800 and it did not start when i got it.. it ended up being a bad connection in that little red box next to the battery..know the one?..where the cables meet...

Well... cleaned all my contacts.... if it does it agaim im just gonna tow it to murrays and borrow a scan tool to check it out before i do anything... that park neutral switch sounds like it might be it... but i dont know.... it hasnt cut out on me in 2 days.... so who knows

Clean the terminals on your ign keys. Some Times customers come into my work complaining about the same thing so i just use a tuner wash and clean there key contacts. Just a thought.

Sounds like Park/neutral switch. If it happens after a ride (not on cold engine) it'* definitely it. There is a simple way to check. If you car doesn't start just let somebody to turn on start key. Then you need to go down to the starter. You'll see there to wires (one to starter itself another one to solenoid. Take a screwdriver and connect two contacts for a second (your assistant should try to start engine at this moment). If car starts - it'* switch. If not - that'* starter. Don't do this many times you can kill starter.
