Default Car just won't start - HELP!!!!!

I've been having this problem with my car it won't start, I was at the gas station the other day filled up and went to start the car and nothing not even a sound, I had power and everything else worked fine. I open the hood and check the battery wire and they were alright, This has happened to me mutipal time this week. Is there any reason?

When you turn the key does the starter engage? If not hold the key and have someone hit the starter with a hammer...just don't hit the electrical connections.

If the hammer trick works or makes it respond in any way, replace starter. PS..keep hammer in car until you fix starter.

If it turns over but won't start you need to check for spark and fuel.

Yeah..figured that. Usually the cause of this is a sticky/dirty bendix. Aka..the thing that engages and makes the starter work. A little tap or reasonable hit usually loosens it up and it'll start working. Might take a bunch of repeated hits.

Some would rebuild the starter, personally it'* easier to change it.
