off topic real quick...
can i put a 124 amp alternator in my 95 bonneville or does it have to be 140 amps...? thanks. the reason i ask is i have a 124 amp alt from a 93 bonnie that i put in my 88 bonnie to better handle my stereo...

At this point if you have the parts laying there in front of you... It couldn't hurt, that would be another possibility ruled out

Give the ICM a try, cant lose anything. A fuel pressure tester is like $40
I would keep the 140 AMP alt. They may swap if the clock is similar (position where the wires exit the alt)
