Default Can anyone suggest a repair shop in the Detroit area or help

Long story short is i got this 94 SSE. Its got some electrical probs that are giving me fits. The Dash flips out, Idles rough and all with no bad codes. I am out of things to try.

I would even be willing to pay one of the kind folks from this board if they are local and can help. Thanks

When you say dash flips out. Please explain further. Do the oil pressure, temp and third gauge go nuts?

Its weird. The oil temp and charging gauges go nuts even when the dash is work. Funny thing is the Charging is fine when i tested it with volt meter and a snap on code reader.

My kid was sitting it the car one day when it was running and i shut the hood. He said the entire dash blinked on and off when the hood closed

All this aside i am having problems with the motor. Last time i drove it it stranded me . the motor died. I check and it was getting spark. So i guessed I was not getting gas. Well there was pressure in the fuel rail. I'm stumped..

One thing I would bet money on is there is a ground problem.

Probably ground or plug in dash. Low voltage will cause gages to act weird.

Brand spanking new battery and the alternator is putting out 14.1 volts. I was thinking loose plug or something behind the dash to.
