do i not have the back of the car jacked up high enough.?

should i drop the front end off the jack stands and jack up the back.?

you may not understand what im trying to say but i think it might help it come out easier..

and incase you dont know this, my catco is still stuck to the rest of the exhaust with some tap welds .. thats why i need to get it down so i can get it off and take out the tap welds to disconnect the whole catco and replace it..

Mine came right out, but I had it in the air on a hoist. It may just be the angle you are at. Try raising just the rear and see if it helps.

Jack it up on the pinch welds on the rear. One side at a time

o.k its not working with the height i jacked the back up with..

my next idea involves a power tool and some serious sparks...

can i get under my car with a grinder and cut the pipe in between the catco and the resinator.? or will the sparks be too dangorus for any lines under the car.?

You sure can. If you have acess to a sawsall then that would be ideal. But a cutting wheel should do it.
