I'm a Chrysler technician and my parents have a 98 bonneville. They say the ABS light is on occassionally and then goes out. Pulled the c1243 code out. I'm just curious if they had issues with this. Somewhere i read about the ground wire from the pump motor may be corroded, don't have my DMM to check. Just wondering if there were any issues they had that were common. I didnt pull anything apart because i'm not too worried about the concern. thanks

I don't believe the pump is servicable as a component. The entire PMV needs to be replaced. Very expensive, so a wrecker part would be the most cost-effective. Get one with at least a 30-day warranty.
