I think the water pump is included with your super charger belt. I know that newer Bonnies have the water pump attached to the other belt and you could run without it for a little while but with real bad gas mileage.
I am not sure if you could just get a smaller belt and run your water pump though maybe possible. I know that you could ask BillBoost or Danthurs and they would be able to tell you for sure. Good luck and sorry I wasn't able to give you 100% here but I think you'll find the answer you are looking for.

Not really my area of knowledge. You only have one belt? Billboost is unavailable at this time, he has a big club meet going on at his house. TLsheff my be able to answer this.

I know on my 94 i ran without the sc belt but i didnt get far before it overheated... the sc motor run hotter due to the charger but the way its design is i doubt seriously if you would be able to get around this problem with a shorter belt given how different the SC vs NA motors are on the pulley routing

besides even IF you could run it with a shorter belt... it would be hard to figure the length of the belt you would need. good luck tho, and you should holler/pm radomirthegreat and see if he has a spare supercharger you could buy off of him, he keeps some in the basement lol

some pics of belt routing between the sc & na motors to possibly aid in a way around it but i dont think it will work easily as they are completely different
