Default Blower fan acting up, need opinions

Well as you all may have notice I've been active lately on here trying to upgrade the car, etc

Anyways, today my blower fan decided to not run, i smacked the dash, it comes on. haha...

Once I turn it off it won't come back on really unless driving the car for a bit and it gets jarred around, I guess the fan is on it'* way? How hard to replace/cost (if so) ?

Fairly easy to remove/reinstall new hvac blower. You may have to remove the strut tower brace because it'* an interference item. Cost is relatively cheap. 92-99 experts will chime in soon, be safe.

Edited: Found some info, I'm gonna do some electrical tests and make sure it'* the fan through the service manual, and take it from there. Thanks for the info with the strut tower brace, i'll keep it in mind

when you replace

Remove strut bar
Remove bracket on back of engine, two 13 mm nuts on the exhaust studs. You'll have it done in a jiffy with those two things gone.
